RAKING RUSSO…
Kevin Russo extended his hitting streak to 10 games on Tuesday morning in Batavia, as he went 2-5 with a double and scored three times . Despite earning a hit in his past ten games, Russo still has not topped his personal best for the season. On May 15th Kevin Russo started his season long hitting streak and it came to an end after 11 games on May 26th. During the current streak, Russo is hitting .293 (12-41), with 7R, 2 2B, 3RBI, 2BB, 8K, SB, GIDP.

CONTINUING THE HOME STAND…
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre continues their eight “home” games with game one of a four game series as the home team against the Syracuse Chiefs at Alliance Bank Park. The Yankees are coming off a two game split with Louisville in which the Bulls took games one and two, while the Yankees won the final two games of the series. The teams played their series finale on Tuesday morning in Batavia, NY. The Yankees won the game 9-7, due in large part to four RBI from Yankee first baseman Russell Branyan. Prior to splitting with the Bats, the Yankees captured a four game sweep of the Durham Bulls at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in which Scranton/Wilkes-Barre outscored Durham by a 30-12 margin in the series…Scranton/Wilkes-Barre opened up the road trip with six games in four days at Norfolk (2-4) playing a pair of double headers (one 11 inning game) and a 13 inning getaway day…Over the next 12 days, the Yankees host the Chiefs for a four game series at Alliance Bank Park, before hopping on a plane to begin an eight game road trip with four in Louisville and four in Indianapolis.
