SWB Yankees and Norfolk Snowed Out
Nor’easter predicted to dump up to eight inches of snow in Batavia area
Batavia, NY – The game between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees and the Norfolk Tides on Monday, April 23rd has been postponed due to snow. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the Yankees visit Harbor Park in Norfolk, Virginia from June 1st – June 4th. The start time and date of the make up games has not yet been announced.
The Yankees will open up a two game series at McCoy Stadium against the Pawtucket Red Sox on Tuesday night with a 6:15 PM first pitch. Right hander D.J. Mitchell (2-0, 2.12) makes the start for the Yankees in the opening game of the series with the Paw Sox. The quick two game series wraps up on Wednesday afternoon with a 12:05 PM first pitch.
